Created in 2007, Blue Soxxxs hits the road again in 2012 after one year of involuntary pausing. After a single and video release and in December 2011, band members Pol, Gilles, Fio and René will continue working on the huge mass of sound material collected during the 2 years after their first Album “Story of lill’boy blue”. Influences and styles have evolved , more attention will be dedicated to song structures and the overall sound of the future album and the recording process itself. Some shows will be planned before the release of the new album to get the band back into the dirty, bouncing groove which is undoubtedly Blues Soxxxs’s live trademark. Planned single releases “Howling with the wolves” and “Mind full of you” are songs that will certainly hit the local radio stations in 2012. Getting some airplay in Germany, France and Belgium as well as some international gigs are further projects the Soxxxs intend to work on in the near future.
